Prayer & Spiritual Formation
Pray. Grow. Become.
Spiritual formation is more than learning what Christians believe. It is becoming the kind of people who can faithfully carry the witness of Jesus Christ.

Formation
Becoming What We Believe
Teaching informs the mind, but formation shapes the whole life. In this section you will find teaching on prayer, fasting, Holy Ghost formation, discipleship, and holiness. These are not separate subjects but parts of one walk with God. Through them, the Holy Ghost forms the character of Christ in the believer. The goal is a life that bears witness to Jesus Christ in word and in deed.
The power is the Holy Ghost. The witness is Christ. The process is formation. The evidence is oneness.

Areas of Formation
Prayer
Prayer is where formation begins. Learn to pray with Scripture, with faith, and with persistence. Teaching here helps believers build a steady life of prayer.
Fasting
Fasting is more than the absence of food. It calls believers back to prayer, surrender, consecration, self-examination, obedience, and a deeper pursuit of God.
Discipleship
Discipleship is learning to follow Jesus Christ and helping others do the same. It joins sound teaching to daily obedience. Every disciple is called to teach somebody else.
Holy Ghost Formation
The Holy Ghost empowers the believer to be a witness of Jesus Christ. Teaching here explores the Spirit-filled life in the Pentecostal-Holiness tradition. Formation is the Spirit’s work of making us like Christ.
Holiness
Holiness is not a set of outward rules alone but a life set apart to God. It touches our thoughts, our appetites, and our relationships. Teaching here calls believers to live what they believe.
Scripture (KJV)
Pray without ceasing.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)
Scripture (KJV)
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7 (KJV)
